Abstract
A computing device may receive an indication of a handwriting input that includes a sequence of handwritten characters, where the sequence of handwritten characters includes a sequence of word abbreviations. The computing device may determine, using a language model, a sequence of candidate words that correspond to the sequence of word abbreviations. The computing device may output, for display at a display device, a user interface that presents tire sequence of candidate words.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- receiving, by one or more processors, an indication of a handwriting input that includes a sequence of handwritten characters, wherein the sequence of handwritten characters includes a sequence of word abbreviations;
- determining, by the one or more processors and using a language model, a sequence of candidate words that correspond to the sequence of word abbreviations;
- and
- outputting, by the one or more processors for display at a display device, a user interface that presents the sequence of candidate words.
A computing device comprising:
- a display device;
- one or more processors;
- and
- non-transitory computer readable media that stores instructions that, when executed, configure the one or more processors to:
- receive an indication of a handwriting input that includes a sequence of handwritten characters, wherein the sequence of handwritten characters includes a sequence of word abbreviations;
- determine, using a language model, a sequence of candidate words that correspond to the sequence of word abbreviations;
- and
- output for display at the display device, a user interface that presents the sequence of candidate words.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- receive an indication of a handwriting input that includes a sequence of handwritten characters, wherein the sequence of handwritten characters includes a sequence of word abbreviations;
- determine, using a language model, a sequence of candidate words that correspond to the sequence of word abbreviations;
- and
- output for display at a display device, a user interface that presents the sequence of candidate words.
