A device for tracking user eye and head position

A device (10) for monitoring a position of head of a user, the

• device (10) comprising:
• a body (30) configured to be attached to an optical wear (1);
• a controller (38), wherein the controller (38) comprises a memory and a processor;
• one or more sensors, wherein the one or more sensors are configured to generate one or more input signals to measure the position of the user's head;
• an alert unit (40) communicatively coupled to the controller (38);
• and
• a power unit (42);
• wherein the one or more sensors communicatively coupled to the controller (38) to transmit the one or more input signals to the controller (38);
• wherein the controller (38) is configured to compare the one or more input signals with corresponding one or more predefined threshold values and generate an output signal;
• wherein the alert unit (40) is configured to generate an alert signal based on the output signal received from the controller (38);
• wherein the one or more sensors comprises a gyroscope (32), wherein the gyroscope (32) is configured to measure an angle of inclination of the user's head with respect to X, Y, and Z planes and the one or more predefined threshold values comprises a threshold angle of inclination of the user's head.
