A spectacle lens for suppressing the progression of refractive error is provided that is high in the capability of suppressing the progression of refractive error and that is provided with predetermined refractive power for normal correction of refractive error. [Solution] The spectacle lens has, around an optical center region 22 to which predetermined refractive power for correction of refractive error has been added, an optical region 23 having refractive power differing from the refractive power of the optical center region 22, and the optical region 23 is continuously placed in a mesh shape around a large number of island-shaped regions 24 that have the same refractive power as the refractive power of the optical center region 22 and that are arranged so as to be separated from each other.
A spectacle lens for suppressing the progression of refractive error, wherein the spectacle lens has, around an optical center region to which predetermined refractive power for correction of refractive error has been added, an optical region having refractive power differing from the refractive power of the optical center region, and the optical region is continuously placed in a mesh shape around a large number of island-shaped regions that have the same refractive power as the refractive power of the optical center region and that are arranged so as to be separated from each other.
