Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a vehicle sensor assembly (200, 500) comprising a waveguide part (218A/218B, 402) and an antenna part (205, 400) operably coupled with the waveguide part (218A/218B, 402). The antenna part (205, 400) comprises an array of antenna slots (215A/215B, 416) configured to deliver electromagnetic radiation from the waveguide part (218A/218B, 402) therethrough. The antenna part (205, 400) is at least partially defined by an absorptive material (110, 210, 410) configured to reduce electromagnetic radiation reflections and may further comprise a conductive and/or metallic coating (120, 220, 420).
Claims15
A vehicle sensor assembly, comprising:
- a waveguide part;
- and
- an antenna part operably coupled with the waveguide part, wherein the antenna part comprises an array of antenna slots, and wherein each of the antenna slots is configured to deliver electromagnetic radiation from the waveguide part therethrough,
- characterized in that the antenna part is at least partially defined by an absorptive material configured to reduce electromagnetic radiation reflections, and wherein the antenna part further comprises an electrically conductive coating.
