Abstract
Systems and methods are disclosed for tank level monitoring. To perform monitoring of fuel levels of fuel tanks, tank level monitor devices may be affixed to the fuel tanks. The tank level monitors may be used to provide data relating to the fuel tanks to a remote location (such as a mobile device application). A predictive algorithm may also be implemented to more effectively schedule refueling events for various fuel tanks.

1-20. (canceled)
A method comprising:
- receiving, by a tank level monitor (TLM) device, a first signal strength associated with a first cellular network from a first subscriber identity module (SIM) of the TLM device;
- receiving, by the TLM device, a second signal strength associated with a second cellular network from a second SIM of the TLM device;
- selecting, by the TLM device and based on a comparison of the first signal strength and the second signal strength, one of the first cellular network or the second cellular network having a stronger signal strength;
- and
- transmitting, by the TLM device via the selected cellular network, a level of a monitored tank to a remote server.
A system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- memory storing computer-executable instructions, that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to:
- receive, by a tank level monitor (TLM) device, a first signal strength associated with a first cellular network from a first subscriber identity module (SIM) of the TLM device;
- receive, by the TLM device, a second signal strength associated with a second cellular network from a second SIM of the TLM device;
- select, by the TLM device and based on a comparison of the first signal strength and the second signal strength, one of the first cellular network or the second cellular network having a stronger signal strength;
- and
- transmit, by the TLM device via the selected cellular network, a level of a monitored tank to a remote server.
A tank level monitor (TLM) device comprising:
- one or more processors;
- and
- memory storing computer-executable instructions, that when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors to:
- receive, by a tank level monitor (TLM) device, a first signal strength associated with a first cellular network from a first subscriber identity module (SIM) of the TLM device;
- receive, by the TLM device, a second signal strength associated with a second cellular network from a second SIM of the TLM device;
- select, by the TLM device and based on a comparison of the first signal strength and the second signal strength, one of the first cellular network or the second cellular network having a stronger signal strength;
- and
- transmit, by the TLM device via the selected cellular network, a level of a monitored tank to a remote server.
