Abstract
A refrigerator including: a main body having a storage chamber, two doors rotatably connected to the main body and each configured to open or close the storage chamber, a rotation bar disposed on at least one of the two doors and configured to seal a space between the two doors when the two doors close the storage chamber, and a top cover disposed on an upper portion of the main body, wherein the top cover comprises: a suction port configured to allow communication between an inner space of the top cover and an outside of the top cover, and a fan configured to suction external air through the suction port and discharge the external air toward the rotation bar.
Claims10
A refrigerator comprising:
- a main body having a storage chamber;
- two doors rotatably connected to the main body and each configured to open or close the storage chamber;
- a rotation bar disposed on at least one of the two doors and configured to seal a space between the two doors when the two doors close the storage chamber;
- and
- a top cover disposed on an upper portion of the main body,
- wherein the top cover comprises:
- a suction port configured to allow communication between an inner space of the top cover and an outside of the top cover, and
- a fan configured to suction external air through the suction port and discharge the external air toward the rotation bar.
A method for preventing dew condensation in a refrigerator, the method comprising:
- measuring at least one of temperature or humidity of external air around the refrigerator;
- driving a fan disposed on a top cover to introduce the external air toward a rotation bar that seals a space between a first door and a second door of the refrigerator when a sensing value for the external air deviates from a predetermined environment condition;
- and
- driving a heater included in the rotation bar to prevent dew condensation from occurring on the rotation bar.
