Abstract
In a refrigeration apparatus, a compressor includes: a casing; an electric motor in the casing; a drive shaft extending in a longitudinal direction of the casing and driven by the electric motor, a compression mechanism connected to the drive shaft, and an oil supply mechanism configured to transport a refrigerating machine oil stored in an oil reservoir at a bottom of the casing to a predetermined sliding portion. The refrigerating machine oil contains a refrigerant and a refrigerating machine oil with a refrigerant solubility of 50 wt % or less.

A refrigeration apparatus including a refrigerant circuit and a compressor in the refrigerant circuit and being configured to perform a refrigeration cycle,
- the compressor including a casing, an electric motor in the casing, a drive shaft extending in a longitudinal direction of the casing and driven by the electric motor, and a compression mechanism connected to the drive shaft, and
- an oil supply mechanism configured to transport a refrigerating machine oil stored in an oil reservoir at a bottom of the casing to a predetermined sliding portion,
- the refrigerating machine oil containing a refrigerant and a refrigerating machine oil with a refrigerant solubility of 50 wt % or less.
