Thermoelectric element and refrigerator including the same

A refrigerator comprising:

• a main body;
• a door rotatably connected to open or close the main body;
• a storage compartment disposed inside the main body for storing food;
• and
• a cold air supply device configured to supply cold air to the storage compartment, and including a thermoelectric element, wherein the thermoelectric element including:
• a Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg,
• wherein the Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg includes Se in a range of 0.1 to 0.5 mol. % based on total moles of the Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg,
• the Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg is a sintered material composed of plate-shaped alloy powder, and
• a length of each of the plate-shaped alloy powder forming the sintered material is 200 μm or less.

A thermoelectric element comprising:

• a Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg,
• wherein the Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg includes Se in a range of 0.1 to 0.5 mol. % based on total moles of the Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg,
• the Bi—Te based thermoelectric leg is a sintered material composed of plate-shaped alloy powder, and
• a length of each of the plate-shaped alloy powder forming the sintered material is 200 μm or less.
