Abstract
The present invention provides an engine braking device with returning and limiting functions and an engine. The engine braking device includes: a camshaft including an auxiliary cam; a brake rocker arm and a rocker arm shaft that mate via a shaft hole; a rocker arm support base provided with a first connecting portion; a return spring bracket with an end connected to a first connecting portion; and a first elastic member with both ends sandwiched between the other end of the return spring bracket and the butting platform. According to the present invention, the overall size of the engine braking device in a vertical direction is reduced, achieving a compacter structure.
