Abstract
A panel system and kit. The panel system includes support posts and an expandable panel assembly. The expandable panel assembly may include a plurality of scissor assemblies. The support posts may be installed into a ground surface at a desires spacing. The expandable panel assembly may be attached to one support post and then expanded to the second support post, thereby extending between the posts. An upper and lower stability bar may be configured with the upper and lower ends of the expandable panel assembly. The panel system may be provided as a kit that may be easily installed without skilled labor or special tools.
Claims20
A panel system comprising:
- a first support post and a second support post;
- an expandable panel assembly including at least two support bars connected to one another by at least two coupling arms, each of the at least two support bars including an upper end and a lower end,
- a first attachment mechanism coupled to a first at least two support bars and adapted to connect the first at least two support bars to the first support post, and a second attachment mechanism coupled to a second at least two support bars and adapted to connect the second at least two support bars to the second support post;
- a first stability bar with a first end adapted to be connected to the first support post and a second end adapted to be connected to the second support post, the first stability bar including at least one receiving slot passing through the first stability bar and adapted to receive the upper end or the lower end of the first support bar or of the second support bar.
