Abstract
A binding mechanism that binds a binding section where a reinforcing bar extending in a first direction intersects with a reinforcing bar extending in a second direction that intersects with the first direction, and a main body to which the binding mechanism is mounted are included, and the main body holds the binding mechanism such that the binding mechanism is rotatable around a rotation axis that extends in a height direction of the main body.

A reinforcing bar binding device, comprising:
- a binding unit that binds a binding section where a reinforcing bar extending in a first direction intersects with a reinforcing bar extending in a second direction that intersects with the first direction;
- and
- a main body to which the binding unit is mounted, wherein
- the main body holds the binding unit such that the binding unit is rotatable around a rotation axis that extends in a height direction of the main body.
