Abstract
A connection assembly includes a connection sleeve having an input skirt portion, and a tightening assembly arranged inside the connection sleeve. The tightening assembly includes a displaceable clamp carrier around which an annular clamp is carried in a tense condition, and a stationary clamp shifter arranged around the clamp carrier for shifting the annular clamp off the clamp carrier to clamp around the input skirt portion.

A connection assembly for connecting together two pipe sections disposed opposite each other, the connection assembly comprising a connection sleeve having an input skirt portion, and a tightening assembly arranged inside the connection sleeve, wherein the tightening assembly comprises a clamp carrier around which an annular clamp is carried in a tense condition, and a clamp shifter arranged around the clamp carrier for shifting the annular clamp off the clamp carrier to clamp around the input skirt portion.
