Wiring harness housing for an appliance

An appliance comprising:

• a cabinet comprising a plurality of walls, the plurality of walls forming an interior into which an electrically-driven component is disposable;
• a controller configured to operate the electrically-driven component;
• a wiring harness assembly operably coupling the controller and the electrically-driven component;
• and
• a wiring harness housing through which the wiring harness assembly is routed, the wiring harness housing comprising:
• a plurality of sidewalls forming a routing passage through which the wiring harness assembly is extendable,
• wherein the plurality of sidewalls and routing passage extend substantially along a lengthwise direction,
• wherein the wiring harness housing comprises a plurality of harness attachment interfaces positioned along the lengthwise direction at the plurality of sidewalls, the plurality of harness attachment interfaces configured to retain the wiring harness assembly to the wiring harness housing along the routing passage;
• wherein the wiring harness housing comprises a first housing portion rotatable relative to a second housing portion at a hinge, wherein the hinge permits the wiring harness housing to bend at the hinge to position the first housing portion and second housing portion alongside one another along the lengthwise direction, and
• wherein the wiring harness housing comprises a unitary, monolithic component comprising the plurality of sidewalls, the plurality of harness attachment interfaces, and the hinge.
