A base steel sheet of the grain-oriented electrical steel sheet contains, in mass %: Si: 2.5 to 4.5%; Mn: 0.01 to 1.00%; N: 0.010% or less; C: 0.010% or less; sol. Al: 0.010% or less; S and/or Se: 0.010% or less; and Ti: 0.010% or less. When, by measuring crystal orientations at measurement points on the surface that are located at a pitch of 2 mm in first and second directions perpendicular to each other using an X-ray diffraction method, misorientations of grain boundaries of crystal grains are obtained, a total length of the grain boundaries of the crystal grains is defined as La, and a total length of grain boundaries with misorientations of 1 to 5° is defined as Ls, Formula (1): Ls / La ≥ 0 . 1 4 0 ( 1 ) is satisfied, and a magnetic flux density Bs is 1.910 T or more.
