Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a polyamide composition which can afford a molded article that is excellent in heat dissipation properties, strength, and moisture resistance. Another object of the present invention is to provide a molded article that is excellent in heat dissipation properties, strength, and moisture resistance. A polyamide composition contains a polyamide, a fibrous inorganic reinforcing material, and a sintered body containing magnesium oxide, the sintered body is coated with a silica film, and the content of the sintered body is 35% by mass or more. A molded article includes the polyamide composition.

A polyamide composition comprising:
- a polyamide;
- a fibrous inorganic reinforcing material;
- and
- a sintered body containing magnesium oxide, wherein
- the sintered body is coated with a silica film, and
- a content of the sintered body is 35% by mass or more.
