Abstract

To provide a film-shaped bonding material which realizes bonding having a short bonding process time, a long open time and excellent adhesiveness. A method for producing a film-shaped bonding material, including a step of applying a resin composition containing an amorphous thermoplastic resin and a solvent onto a support, and a step of removing the solvent from the resin composition after the application to obtain a film-shaped bonding material laminated on the support, in which the amorphous thermoplastic resin is at least one of a thermoplastic epoxy resin and a phenoxy resin, has an epoxy equivalent of 1,600 g/eq. or more or does not contain an epoxy group, and has a heat of fusion of 15 J/g or less.
