Abstract

A polypropylene resin expanded beads containing a biomass-derived polypropylene resin and capable of providing an excellent polypropylene resin expanded beads molded body, and a polypropylene resin expanded beads molded body produced using the polypropylene resin expanded beads. In the polypropylene resin expanded beads, a base material resin of the expanded beads contains biomass-derived polypropylene resin A containing a biomass-derived monomer component in a molecular chain and fossil fuel-derived polypropylene resin B, and the base material resin contains 3% by weight or more and 60% by weight or less of the biomass-derived polypropylene resin A and 40% by weight or more and 97% by weight or less of the fossil fuel-derived polypropylene resin B (a total of both is 100% by weight); and the expanded beads molded body is obtained by in-mold molding of the polypropylene resin expanded beads.
