A method of manufacturing recombinant follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) comprising α2,3- and α2,6-sialylation, the method comprising a step of producing or expressing recombinant FSH in a human cell line, wherein the human cell line has been modified using an α2,3-sialyltransferase.
