An object of the present disclosure is to provide a metal organic framework having an excellent desorption performance of adsorbed substances. A metal organic framework comprising an organic ligand and a metal ion, wherein in a diffraction spectrum obtained from X-ray diffraction measurement within a range of 2θ=3 to 40°, a half width of a most intense peak is 0.05 to 0.225°, and a glass adhesion rate calculated by the following measurement method is 0 to 20% by mass, [measurement of glass adhesion rate] when 100 mg of a sample of the metal organic framework is placed into a vertically erected glass tube having a diameter of 6 mm and a length of 200 mm through an upper end thereof, a glass adhesion rate is defined as a mass fraction of the sample adhered to an inside of the glass tube relative to a mass of the placed sample.
