A method for preparing a spermine derivative of formula I,
- comprising a step of reacting 2,2-phenylpropionic acid with spermine;
- optionally, the method comprising:
- 1) reacting 2,2-phenylpropionic acid, CDI, and DCM;
- and
- 2) adding spermine and reacting at room temperature overnight;
