Methods for activating ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) by an admixture including triethanolamine and diethanolisopropanolamine; admixtures including triethanolamine and diethanolisopropanolamine; and hydraulic binder compositions including GGBS, optionally Portland cement, and triethanolamine and diethanolisopropanolamine.
Claims15
A method for activating ground granulated blast furnace slag, the method comprising the steps of
- a) providing a ground granulated blast furnace slag,
- b) providing an admixture comprising triethanolamine and diethanolisopropanolamine, and
- c) mixing the ground granulated blast furnace slag and the admixture.
A hydraulic binder composition comprising
- (a1) at least one ground granulated blast furnace slag,
- (a2) optionally Portland cement,
- (b) triethanolamine,
- (c) diethanolisopropanolamine,
- (d) optionally aggregates and/or fillers, and
- (e) optionally further admixtures.
