Abstract
A precursor of a positive electrode active material, in which the precursor is a particle of a nickel cobalt manganese composite hydroxide, and in an XRD analysis, the precursor has a peak A and a peak B in which a (100) plane attributed to a space group R3-m is split into two peaks.

A precursor of a positive electrode active material, wherein:
- the precursor is a particle of a nickel cobalt manganese composite hydroxide;
- and
- in an XRD analysis, the precursor has a peak A and a peak B resulting from splitting a peak of a (100) plane attributed to a space group R3-m into two peaks.
