Abstract
The present invention relates to the discovery that a uniform coating of MnO2 can prevent bacterial contamination. Accordingly, the invention includes methods of producing one or more MnO2 coating on a surface. The invention also includes methods of preventing bacterial contamination on a surface by applying the specified coating.
