Abstract
A work platform includes a floor structure, a rail coupled with the floor structure and including a sidebar positioned over the floor structure, a control panel supported by the rail, and a protection device including a transmitter configured to emit a beam. The transmitter is disposed in a housing. The housing is coupled to a bend portion of the sidebar between a first-end portion of the housing and a second-end portion of the housing.

A work platform comprising:
- a floor structure;
- a rail coupled with the floor structure and including a sidebar positioned above the floor structure;
- a control panel supported by the rail;
- and
- a protection device including a transmitter configured to emit a beam, wherein the transmitter is disposed in a housing coupled to a bend portion of the sidebar between a first-end portion of the housing and a second-end portion of the housing.
