Abstract
A sustainable packaging apparatus is provided for packaging rolled paper products in canisters, such as paper canisters. The packaging apparatus includes a canister drive system configured for moving a plurality of canisters and a rolled product feeder configured for loading one or more rolled products into the plurality of canisters.

A packaging apparatus for packing a rolled product, comprising:
- a canister drive system configured for moving a plurality of canisters in a first direction;
- and
- a rolled product feeder configured for loading one or more rolled products into the plurality of canisters by moving the one or more rolled products in a second direction substantially perpendicular to the first direction.
