Abstract
A lanyard safety device for a marine helm station has a base part with a socket, the socket having a first end, a second end and a housing extending between the first end and the second end, a circumferential inner groove is arranged in the housing, a mechanical fastening mechanism is arranged in the inner groove, a plug part configured to be attached to the socket of the base part. The plug part has a projection protruding from a plug head. The projection has a circumferential outer groove. The plug part is releasable maintained in the base part by the mechanical fastening mechanism is attached to the outer groove.

A lanyard safety device for a marine helm station, comprising
- a base part comprising
- a socket, the socket having a first end, a second end and a housing extending between the first end and the second end, a circumferential inner groove is arranged in the housing,
- a mechanical fastening mechanism is arranged in the inner groove,
- a plug part configured to be attached to the socket of the base part, the plug part comprising
- a projection protruding from a plug head, the projection comprises a circumferential outer groove,
- wherein the plug part is releasable maintained in the base part by the mechanical fastening mechanism is attached to the outer groove.
