Abstract

A hydrofoil mast is for a watercraft. The mast has an elongate body extending between a first end of the mast configured to be connected to an underside of the watercraft and a second end of the mast configured to be connected to a hydrofoil system. The first and second ends are similar, allowing the mast to be inverted and assembled with the watercraft with the first end connected to the hydrofoil system and the second end connected to the underside of the watercraft. A motor mount is configured to support an electric motor to drive a propulsion device. The body of the mast defines one or more internal conduits configured to accommodate one or more cables to connect the motor to a power source and controller on the watercraft. These conduits extend from the motor mount to the first end and to the second end.
