Control device, control method, and storage medium

A control method performed by a computer, comprising:

• acquiring a torque which acts on a rotation shaft of a steering unit of a vehicle and is detected by a first detector that detects the torque, and a steering angle which is a rotation angle of the rotation shaft and is detected by a second detector that detects the steering angle;
• determining whether there is a non-steering operation of the steering unit based on the acquired torque and the acquired steering angle;
• controlling a predetermined control apparatus mounted on the vehicle based on a determination result;
• executing control of the control apparatus corresponding to a response request, when the non-steering operation is detected, in response to the response request to a user based on a function of the control apparatus, by at least one of the first detector and the second detector based on the determination result;
• and
• not executing the control of the control apparatus corresponding to the response request if the non-steering operation is not detected by any of the first detector and the second detector based on the determination result.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing a control program that causes a computer to execute a process, the process comprising:

• acquiring a torque which acts on a rotation shaft of a steering unit of a vehicle and is detected by a first detector that detects the torque, and a steering angle which is a rotation angle of the rotation shaft and is detected by a second detector that detects the steering angle;
• determining whether there is a non-steering operation of the steering unit based on the acquired torque and the acquired steering angle;
• controlling a predetermined control apparatus mounted on the vehicle based on a determination result;
• executing control of the control apparatus corresponding to a response request, when the non-steering operation is detected, in response to the response request to a user based on a function of the control apparatus, by at least one of the first detector and the second detector based on the determination result;
• and
• not executing the control of the control apparatus corresponding to the response request if the non-steering operation is not detected by any of the first detector and the second detector based on the determination result.
