Abstract

A control device includes a control unit. The control unit is configured to control a vehicle lamp to perform illumination with: in a case in which it is normal weather and no reflection object is present in front of a vehicle, a first light distribution pattern; in a case in which it is normal weather and a reflection object is present in front of the vehicle, a second light distribution pattern in which a partial region where the reflection object is present is darker than a corresponding partial region in the first light distribution pattern; and in a case in which it is rainy weather and a reflection object is present in front of the vehicle, a third light distribution pattern in which a partial region where the reflection object is present is darker than a corresponding partial region in the second light distribution pattern.

A control device for controlling a vehicle lamp capable of illuminating a front of a vehicle, the control device comprising:

a control unit configured to control the vehicle lamp to illuminate the front of the vehicle with a light distribution pattern determined based on weather information correlated with a weather state around the vehicle and reflection object information on a reflection object present in front of the vehicle,
wherein the control unit is configured to:
control, in a case in which it is normal weather and no reflection object is present in front of the vehicle, the vehicle lamp to perform illumination with a first light distribution pattern;
control, in a case in which it is normal weather and a reflection object is present in front of the vehicle, the vehicle lamp to perform illumination with a second light distribution pattern in which a partial region where the reflection object is present is darker than a corresponding partial region in the first light distribution pattern;
and
control, in a case in which it is rainy weather and a reflection object is present in front of the vehicle, the vehicle lamp to perform illumination with a third light distribution pattern in which a partial region where the reflection object is present is darker than a corresponding partial region in the second light distribution pattern.
