Tether assembly and safety seat

A safety seat comprising:

• a base, a seat body, and a tether assembly;
• wherein the tether assembly is configured to connect the base to a vehicle, and comprises a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, and a tether, wherein the first connecting rod is at least partially disposed above a top of the base, and the second connecting rod is disposed inside the base;
• the tether is connected to the second connecting rod and a part of the first connecting rod located above the top of the base, and is detachably connected to the vehicle;
• wherein the seat body is rotatably connected to the base and has a forward-facing use state and a rearward-facing use state relative to the base, and the tether assembly is configured to be disposed between the base and the vehicle.

A tether assembly for connecting a seat body of a safety seat to a vehicle, the tether assembly comprising:

• a first connecting rod, a second connecting rod, and a tether;
• wherein the first connecting rod is at least partially disposed above a top of the seat body, and the second connecting rod is disposed inside the seat body;
• and
• the tether is connected to the second connecting rod and a part of the first connecting rod located above the top of the seat body, and is detachably connected to the vehicle.
