Abstract
Conveyance malfunctions of a sheet are to be prevented in advance. A sheet supply apparatus includes: a roll holding unit configured to rotatably hold a roll on which a sheet that serves as a print medium is wound; one or more memories storing instructions; and one or more processors which function as: a notification unit configured to provide a notification related to supply of the roll, based on a degree of curvature of an outer periphery of the roll held by the roll holding unit.

A sheet supply apparatus comprising:
- a roll holding unit configured to rotatably hold a roll on which a sheet that serves as a print medium is wound;
- one or more memories storing instructions;
- and
- one or more processors which function as:
- a notification unit configured to provide a notification related to supply of the roll, based on a degree of curvature of an outer periphery of the roll held by the roll holding unit.

- obtaining a value indicating a degree of curvature of an outer periphery of a roll on which a sheet that serves as a print medium is wound;

- stopping control of a motor in a case where a comparison result between the value and a threshold value indicates that the degree of curvature is large.
