Droplet placement device, droplet placement method, and display device manufacturing method

A display device manufacturing method comprising:

• placing droplets onto respective substrates by a droplet placement device;
• and
• processing each substrate having undergone the placing, thereby obtaining a display device,
• wherein the droplet placement device comprises:
• a substrate holder configured to hold a plurality of substrates spaced apart from each other;
• a discharge head configured to discharge a droplet;
• a scanning mechanism configured to relatively move the substrate holder with respect to the discharge head to continuously scan a region including the plurality of substrates with respect to the discharge head;
• an alignment measurement device configured to measure alignment errors of the plurality of substrates held by the substrate holder;
• and
• a controller configured to control the discharge head and the scanning mechanism based on the alignment errors measured using the alignment measurement device to provide droplets to a plurality of target locations of the respective substrates in a period in which the region is continuously scanned by the scanning mechanism.
