Liquid ejection apparatus

A liquid ejection apparatus comprising:

• a liquid ejection unit including a plurality of nozzles that eject a liquid onto a medium, the liquid being supplied from a plurality of liquid containers that contain the liquid;
• a flow path configured to allow the liquid to flow from the liquid containers to the liquid ejection unit;
• and
• a control unit configured to control the apparatus, wherein
• the plurality of liquid containers include
• a first liquid container that contains a recording liquid as the liquid for recording on the medium,
• a second liquid container configured to contain a treatment liquid as the liquid for performing a treatment on the medium, and
• a third liquid container configured to contain a cleaning liquid as the liquid for cleaning the flow path,
• the flow path includes
• a plurality of supply flow paths that allow the liquid to be supplied from the liquid containers,
• a common flow path that is coupled to at least one of the plurality of supply flow paths and allows the liquid to flow to the liquid ejection unit, and
• a switching unit that switches the supply flow path coupled to the common flow path, and
• the plurality of supply flow paths include
• a first supply flow path that supplies the liquid from the first liquid container,
• a second supply flow path that supplies the liquid from the second liquid container, and
• a third supply flow path that supplies the liquid from the third liquid container.
