Abstract
A welding tool for welding plastic films, with a carrier part, having a mechanical interface for coupling to a welding device and having a carrier surface on which a heating strip is arranged, which heating strip has a layer structure with a first electrical insulation layer, an electrically conductive heating layer and a second electrical insulation layer. The first electrical insulation layer is made of aluminum nitride.
