A stopper and wick assembly for devices for diffusing volatile substances comprises a wick for diffusing the volatile substances; and a stopper placed around the wick, covering a portion of the wick, wherein the wick and the stopper are bonded to each other. The stopper can be bonded to the wick in a non-removable way.

- a wick for diffusing the volatile substances;
