Abstract
Provided are a recombinant Artemisia vulgaris pollen group 3 allergen protein Art v 3, an encoding gene thereof and an expression and purification method therefor. The amino acid sequence of the protein is shown in SEQ ID NO: 2, and the nucleotide sequence encoding the protein is shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. The protein can be used for preparing a medicament for the treatment of Artemisia pollen allergic diseases or a diagnostic reagent for the detection of the Artemisia pollen allergen.

A protein for treating Artemisia pollen allergy, wherein the protein is a recombinant Artemisia vulgaris pollen group 3 allergen (Art v 3), the recombinant Art v 3 has an amino acid sequence, a disulfide bond, and a molecular weight identical to a native Art v 3 protein, and possesses an immunoreactivity in vitro to allergen-specific antibodies in a serum of an allergic patient equivalent to the immunoreactivity of the native Art v 3 protein.
