A method for treating cancer comprising co-administering to a subject in need thereof an effective amount of:
- (a) a chimeric protein or chimeric protein complex comprising:
- (i) a targeting moiety comprising a recognition domain which recognizes and binds to CD13;
- and
- (ii) a modified tumor necrosis factor (TNF) signaling agent, the modified TNF signaling agent having one or more mutations that confer improved safety as compared to a wild type TNF signaling agent, and
- (b) at least one additional therapeutic agent is selected from:
- (i) a PI3K inhibitor,
- (ii) an anthracycline, and
- (iii) a SMAC mimetic.
