## Abstract

Provided herein are a novel species of Collinsella and a pharmaceutical composition thereof. The Gram-negative Collinsella sp. obtained through screening was named Collinsella sp. MNH 18574. Through routine species identification, it is determined that the bacterium is a new species of the genus Collinsella. Metabolite prediction and experiments in tumor models prove that the bacterium can increase the expression of multiple induced inflammatory factors, reduce the expression of anti-inflammatory factors, and can significantly improve the survival conditions of various tumor mouse models (such as lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, etc.). The bacterium can be used for developing drugs for preventing or treating various cancers. Metabolic experiments such as mouse liver and kidney function experiments and mouse obesity intervention experiments prove that the bacterium can improve and prevent metabolic diseases.
