Abstract
Compositions and methods for treatment of azide poisoning in a subject in need thereof, having an effective amount of cobinamide, a cobinamide derivative, or a salt thereof. Azide poisoning can be caused for example by exposure to sodium azide.

A method of treating azide poisoning in a subject comprising administering to the subject an effective amount of cobinamide, a cobinamide derivative, or a salt thereof.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising an effective amount of cobinamide, a cobinamide derivative, or a salt thereof, wherein the pharmaceutical composition is effective to treat azide poisoning in a human subject.
