Abstract
The present invention is directed to compounds that can treat obesity or cancer, and more particularly to 6-bromo-decyl-benzoquinone and derivatives as treatments for obesity and various forms of cancer.

A compound of Formula I, or a salt, solvate, or prodrug thereof:
- wherein n as an integer from 1 to 15, and X is a halogen.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of Formula I, or a salt, solvate, or prodrug thereof, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
A method of treating a disease, disorder, or medical condition in a patient, comprising the step of providing to a patient in need thereof a pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound of Formula I or a salt, solvate, or prodrug thereof, together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
