Abstract
The invention relates to a cosmetic hair dyeing method comprising at least the steps consisting in: (a) applying to at least one lock of hair an aqueous dyeing composition comprising one or more ionic direct dyes, (b) exposing the hair impregnated with the dyeing composition to microwave radiation.

A method for dyeing hair comprising:
- (a) applying to at least one lock of hair an aqueous dyeing composition comprising one or more ionic direct dyes;
- (b) exposing the at least one lock of hair impregnated with the dyeing composition to microwave radiation.
An assembly for dyeing hair comprising:
- at least one dyeing composition comprising at least one ionic direct dye, and
- a device suitable for exposing at least one lock of the hair to microwave radiation with a frequency ranging from 500 MHz to 300 GHz.
