Abstract
An absorbent medical sheet assembly includes an impermeable layer and a permeable layer coupled to the impermeable layer. The permeable layer is in confronting relation to the impermeable layer and cooperating with the impermeable layer to define a cavity therebetween. The absorbent medical sheet includes an absorbent dam positioned between the impermeable layer and the permeable layer such that the cavity extends around an entirety of the absorbent dam.
Claims20
An absorbent medical sheet assembly comprising:
- an impermeable layer;
- a permeable layer coupled to the impermeable layer, the permeable layer in confronting relation to the impermeable layer and cooperating with the impermeable layer to define a cavity therebetween;
- and
- an absorbent dam positioned between the impermeable layer and the permeable layer such that the cavity extends around an entirety of a periphery of the absorbent dam.
A hand covering comprising:
- an impermeable liner comprising:
- a liner interior surface defining a liner cavity within the impermeable liner,
- a liner exterior surface,
- a first liner edge defining a first opening into the liner cavity, and
- a second liner edge opposite the first liner edge, wherein the second liner edge is sealed;
- an absorbent sheet comprising:
- a sheet interior surface defining a sheet cavity within the absorbent sheet,
- a sheet exterior surface, and
- a sheet edge defining a second opening into the sheet cavity,
- wherein the impermeable liner is positioned within the sheet cavity, the sheet interior surface being coupled to at least a portion of the liner exterior surface;
- and
- a gusset extending into the liner cavity.
An absorbent medical sheet assembly comprising:
- an impermeable layer;
- an absorbent layer coupled to the impermeable layer;
- and
- an absorbent dam positioned on the absorbent layer, the absorbent dam comprising:
- a first segment extending along a first axis, and
- a second segment extending at least in part along a second axis, the second axis angularly separated from the first axis, the first segment and the second segment defining a region therebetween configured to retain biological waste.
