Abstract
An aortic valve prosthesis is configured for a transcatheter implantation, with a valve frame (4) which can be folded together and having three commissures (6), between which three valve leaflets (2) are arranged. The commissures (6) at their ends each merge into a commissure holding bow (14), the ends of the commissure holding bows (14) which are away from the commissures (6) are connected to one another in a common connection point (16). The connection point (16) forms a free end of the aortic valve prosthesis, on which end a holding element (22) is arranged. The holding element is configured in a manner such that it can be gripped by a tool.
