Abstract

A method of treating a surface of a dental implant to provide roughness to the surface including: a first surface treatment step of forming grooves in a regular pattern on an entirety or a part of the implant surface by using a laser; and a second surface treatment step of providing roughness to the grooves and the peripheries of the grooves through acid etching. The first surface treatment step may include: a primary laser processing process of processing a plurality of first grooves that are continuous in a first direction and spaced apart in a second direction; and a secondary laser processing process of processing a plurality of second grooves that are continuous in the second direction and spaced apart in the first direction to form a crater at each intersection of the first groove and the second groove.
