Systems and methods for capturing, displaying, and manipulating medical images and videos

A video analysis system, comprising:

• an image capture device;
• a display assembly configured to display one or more images captured by the image capture device;
• and
• one or more processors configured to cause the system to:
• capture a first series of video frames in a first spectrum;
• capture a second series of video frames in a second spectrum, wherein the second series of video frames is captured simultaneously with capturing of the first series of video frames;
• identify a first feature in one or more frames of the first series of video frames;
• apply a tracking algorithm to track the first feature in the first series of video frames;
• and
• identify a region in one or more frames of the second series of video frames based on the tracking algorithm applied to the first series of video frames.

A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium for video analysis, the non-transitory computer-readable storage medium storing instructions configured to be executed by one or more processors of a video analysis system comprising an image capture device and a display assembly configured to display one or more images captured by the image capture device, wherein executing the instructions causes the system to:

• capture a first series of video frames in a first spectrum;
• capture a second series of video frames in a second spectrum, wherein the second series of video frames is captured simultaneously with capturing of the first series of video frames;
• identify a first feature in one or more frames of the first series of video frames;
• apply a tracking algorithm to track the first feature in the first series of video frames;
• and
• identify a region in one or more frames of the second series of video frames based on the tracking algorithm applied to the first series of video frames.

A video analysis method, the method performed at a video analysis system comprising an image capture device, a display assembly configured to display one or more images captured by the image capture device, and one or more processors, the method comprising:

• capturing a first series of video frames in a first spectrum;
• capturing a second series of video frames in a second spectrum, wherein the second series of video frames is captured simultaneously with capturing of the first series of video frames;
• identifying a first feature in one or more frames of the first series of video frames;
• applying a tracking algorithm to track the first feature in the first series of video frames;
• and
• identifying a region in one or more frames of the second series of video frames based on the tracking algorithm applied to the first series of video frames.
