Abstract
An ablation device comprises a sheath, a balloon attached to the sheath and being expandable and an electrode located on an outer surface of the sheath. The balloon is located longitudinally adjacent to the electrode.

A treatment method for cholecystitis, comprising:
- inserting an electrode into a cystic duct;
- and
- using the electrode to electro-cauterize the cystic duct from an inside of the cystic duct.
A treatment method for cholecystitis, comprising:
- inserting an electrode of an ablation device into a cystic duct;
- and
- using the electrode to electro-cauterize the cystic duct from an inside of the cystic duct,
- wherein the ablation device includes:
- a sheath,
- a balloon attached to the sheath and being expandable, and
- the electrode located on an outer surface of the sheath,
- wherein the balloon is located longitudinally adjacent to the electrode, and
- wherein the method further comprises using the balloon to position the electrode in the cystic duct.
