Abstract
A dust collector includes: a body housing having a housing suction port; a motor assembly that is disposed inside the body housing, that includes a fan and a motor that rotates the fan, and that generates suction force at the housing suction port; and a closure inhibiting portion that inhibits the housing suction port from being blocked. The closure inhibiting portion includes a wall portion disposed at least partially around the housing suction port and a ventilation portion provided in the wall portion.

A dust collector comprising a body housing having a housing suction port a motor assembly that is disposed inside the body housing, that includes a fan and a motor that rotates the fan, and that generates suction force at the housing suction port;
- and a closure inhibiting portion that inhibits the housing suction port from being blocked, wherein the closure inhibiting portion includes a wall portion disposed at least partially around the housing suction port and a ventilation portion provided in the wall portion.
