Abstract
A sports shoe includes an upper and a midsole. The shoe includes, at a heel area of the shoe, a heel counter comprising a top counter and a bottom counter. The top counter is provided with a top part fastened to the upper and a bottom part fastened to a top face of the midsole. The bottom counter is fastened to a lateral face of the midsole. The top counter and the bottom counter are distinct and separated by a portion of the midsole.

A sports shoe comprising:
- an upper;
- a midsole;
- and
- a heel counter at a heel area, the heel counter comprising a top counter and a bottom counter, the top counter including a top part fastened to the upper and a bottom part fastened to a top face of the midsole, the bottom counter fastened to a lateral face of the midsole, and the top counter and the bottom counter are distinct and separated by a portion of the midsole.
