Abstract
An aerosol generating article including an aerosol generating material that is heated to generate an aerosol includes an identification material configured to absorb light having a first wavelength emitted from the outside of the aerosol generating article and to emit light having a second wavelength that is different from the first wavelength, wherein the identification material includes an organic material.

An aerosol generating article including an aerosol generating material that is heated to generate an aerosol, the aerosol generating article comprising:
- an identification material configured to absorb light having a first wavelength emitted from the outside of the aerosol generating article and to emit light having a second wavelength that is different from the first wavelength,
- wherein the identification material includes an organic material.
A method of manufacturing an aerosol generating article, the method comprising:
- preparing an identification material including an organic material;
- producing a first solution by mixing the identification material with an overprint (OP) varnish;
- producing an identification material solution by mixing the first solution with a diluent;
- and
- applying the identification material solution to the aerosol generating article.
