Article for an aerosol provision system, device, aerosol provision system and method

A device for an aerosol provision system comprising:

• an aerosol generating chamber comprising:
• an aerosol generator located towards a first end of the aerosol generating chamber and configured to cause aerosol to be generated from aerosol-generating material;
• an outlet located at a second end of the aerosol generating chamber opposite the first end of the cylinder;
• and
• an inlet located on a side wall of the aerosol generating chamber between the aerosol generator and the outlet and configured to direct air into the aerosol generating chamber;
• wherein the aerosol generating chamber is cylindrical such that, in use, air is drawn from the inlet into the aerosol generating chamber to generate a reverse cyclone in the aerosol generating chamber and draw aerosol through the aerosol generating chamber from the aerosol generator to the outlet.

An aerosol provision system comprising:

• an aerosol generating chamber comprising:
• an aerosol generator located towards a first end of the aerosol generating chamber and configured to cause aerosol to be generated from aerosol-generating material;
• an outlet located at a second end of the aerosol generating chamber opposite the first end of the cylinder;
• and
• an inlet located on a side wall of the aerosol generating chamber between the aerosol generator and the outlet and configured to direct air into the aerosol generating chamber;
• wherein the aerosol generating chamber is cylindrical such that, in use, air is drawn from the inlet into the aerosol generating chamber to generate a reverse cyclone in the aerosol generating chamber and draw aerosol through the aerosol generating chamber from the aerosol generator to the outlet.

A method of generating an aerosol comprising:

• drawing air from an inlet of a cylindrical aerosol generating chamber to generate a reverse cyclone in the aerosol generating chamber,
• wherein the is inlet located on a side wall of the aerosol generating chamber between an aerosol generator and an outlet and the inlet is configured to direct air into the aerosol generating chamber,
• wherein the aerosol generator is located towards a first end of the aerosol generating chamber and configured to cause aerosol to be generated from aerosol-generating material, and
• wherein the outlet is located at a second end of the aerosol generating chamber opposite the first end of the aerosol generating chamber;
• and
• drawing aerosol through the aerosol generating chamber from the aerosol generator to the outlet.
